... was long. But, for the most part, it was also good.
Pretty much just VBS all week long (Mon-Fri, 8:45-12 for crew leaders). There were a ton of crew leaders relative to the kids this year, so there were three crew leaders to about every 5 kids. It worked out pretty well, though.
The five kids in my group were: Lauren, Henrik (Dowd), Liam (Dowd), Ethan (Napier), and Gabe (Suarez). They were actually all really well behaved, except for Ethan, but I didn't have to worry about him much cause Abby (his aunt, but she's younger than me by about two years, i think) was there to take care of him and lay down the law. They were really cute, and just nice kids. So... I got really lucky this year.
The theme we were working with was "Power Lab." Everything had to be somewhat science-y and we were doing "experiments" all week. There was a schedule every day: Sing/Dance thing at the beginning, Finale sing/dance thing at the end, and five different stations in between: crafts, bible blast, chadder movie thing, hyperspeed games, and test tube treats (i remember some of the weird names, but not all, obviously). Annnd... I dunno. it just went pretty well all week. Oh! And Christina was my group's crew leader (i was technically an assistant crew leader, if you will, becuase no kids were ever assigned to my group, so yeah). I took lots of pictures n' such, and I'll be posting them on here eventually.
More on VBS eventually, i suppose. I'm actually not really in the blogging mood, so let me sum it up.
Scot is now on his way to Uncle Moose n' Aunt Debra's house for the cook out that I can't go to due to work (and due to the fact that my co-worker, Kalvin, doesn't know how to answer a PHONE). He's goin with my dad, aki, n' javier. Hopefully that'll be fun for them.
I have work from 4-9 today...
Yesterday I spent the night at scot's house and just chilled. got a nice pay check. Ty n' ariel came over to scot's house after the VBS clean up/pizza/etc. party. We swam, and ariel and I had a chicken fight that was tons of fun... XD I was on scot's shoulders, ariel was on ty's... VERY entertaining for us. XD Ariel and I were dying with laughter.
But yesh... besides that, I had work tuesday/thursday of this week... wednesday night i spent the night at anna's, and saturday she spent the night at my house and went home when we went to mass. Hrm. Monday I went shopping with scot and his mom cause the goody's on deans bridge is closing n' yeah.
I wanted to go to Old Navy today, but couldn't due to work/scot having to clean the camper. Blarg. I hate missing really good sales.
Tonight imma be spending the night at kristen's house after work; mine fajah shall be bringing me.

Yeah, so I do have other stuff to do, so I probably shouldn't be trying to type a blog, cause I know they take forever... XD
but let's try to keep it short this time!
I'm finally "yelling" at a certain someone for not noticing my hair cut a long time ago, after being given multiple opportunities. It honestly kinda hurt my feelings. ^^;
but yesh... so, today was an interesting day.
Felt super blah going into work; body was just drained, and I had to rush getting ready.. .didn't get to mass for the second week in a row, and I feel terrible for it.
Once at work though, even though my body did feel severely drained, i still was workin with Lani, Holly, and Allen, and this is honestly probably my favorite combo of co-workers, so that made things better. Lani brought in a croissant from Starbucks to let us all try... twas chocolate and quite delicious X3 so, holly went and bought one for herself and me, too! so, imma eat that soon (I saved it for later in the fridge).
My numbers at work came out quite nice today... quotas were 3 res and 2 sub, but I got 4 res and 1 sub, so not too bad. that same certain someone forgot to come in and make a reservation today, too, but that person has been forgiven for that, at least XD
but yesh... so, the end of work was quite interesting XD Holly and I finished closing up shop ten minutes early, so we decided I would go out with her to her car, and we would drop off the money deposit at zee bank, and then she would bring me to the front of the mall and drop me off to me mum (and everyone else was already gone).
So, we get to the bank, and I call my mum just to make sure she doesn't start worrying or anything, and i'm like "hey, mom, are you out front yet?" and she was like "... out front?" and then i was like ".... OH NO" because as it turns out, i DEFINITELY forgot to call her and tell her scot was not taking me home and she was supposed to XD
At that point, I turned to holly and went "hey hooolllyyy *smile/love* XD" and she ever-so-kindly agreed to take me home, for.. .there really was no one else to take care of me (mum was down town helping grandma with her car cause something had gone wrong with it).
So, she takes me home, and we pull up in the drive way, and of course there isn't anyone in the drive way, cause mum's downtwon.
It is at this time that I realized "OH MY GOSH I DON'T HAVE MY KEY" because i let scot borrow it to take my stuff inside after he dropped me off from work, cause my family was probably still out at church n' suches.
so i was freaking out, cause it didn't look like anyone was home... but thankfully ty was, and he let me in, and I said good-bye and thank you to holly. XD
Well, on a different note, when ty answered the door, I was quite surprised, because he had an unfortunate run-in with the hair-cutter. XD He didn't have the usual person cut his hair, and... he regrets it. It looks quite bizarre. I would post piccies, but I think you guys shall just wait til you see it yourselves. Just... different XD it should grow out okay, but it's just too random right now XD buh XD i'm sorry, me poor bro XD *pets him*
But yesh... to top it all off, today at work, Chris was supposed to come in and give us our performance evaluations. Weelll... he never did, and that also made it so I had to leave him a note, because.. well... as it turns out, the Professor Layton game I checked out (which is very fun, btw) cannot be erased. As in, you can't erase the save files on it. XD
And it was a new copy XD (there were/are no used at our store yet) XD
So i'm like.. crap. XD what do I do about that? So.. yup... I left a note, and hopefully he won't hurt me or want to hurt me for it. I didn't know! XD blarg.
Anywhoodly, I do need to get to that computers paper (and finish it off..) and I also need to do my PAW whooops gotta send out that reminder, too. eheh. LAST ONE!!
and then econ and calc. blarg.

Yeah!! So, a lot of stuff has been happening lately, but I need to study for Econ test tomorrow, so can't say much.
Chorale send-off concert was yesterday... it went quite well! Thank you for everyone who came... Lani and Mike came!!! XD I was so happy... then Lani gave me some good feed back on my facebook, so yesh X3 twas nice!
but yes!!! I found out today that I got the Watson-Brown Scholarship! $3000 per year! eeeeee Praisin the Lord X3 ^^ so yays! That's all for now :P byers ^^ |

Surprise....

aahhhh so, funny thing is, I’m writing this blog mainly because I want to say that I have a surprise, but I’m not going to say what it is until tomorrow evening (to those of you who don’t see me during the school day). I can’t believe it! But more on that tomorrow.
In any case, Prom was last night! (3/29/08) Super fun stuff... it was really pretty cool for the most part, except it was FREEZING and it was raining/lightly raining pretty much the whole evening/night.
Before prom, my group of peoples (me, scot, lindsay, sam, anna, lacey (anna’s "date"), ira, and garret (ira’s "date") ) went to Miyabi’s, and that was wonderfully delicious! That was fun, then Lindsay took our food to her house ever-so-kindly. Hrm. Then we made our way to prom.. got to Enterprise Mills fine, but me, scot, anna, lacey, and then shelby and robert actually popped up on the wrong side... VERY creepy, because we actually went into the building (the lights were on!) and... yeah. Just... ugh *shudders* XD So eventually we went back out and it started raining again, so scot carried me/ran me to the truck to try to keep my dress from gettin wet ^-^ yay X3
but yesh... prom was cool.. i gots pictures which i shall be uploadin n’ suches as time goes by, but yeah. I actually danced this year! AND GET THIS! Scot danced with me!!! XD Not the entire time, but still! I’m just really happy that he was able to get out and dance with me, despite the fact that both of us aren’t exactly comfortable dancing in public XD it made me really happy, though ^^
Hrm... lots-o-other stuffs happened.. and we had a streaker.. *sigh* >_> i saw his butt... *cries* scot and i were sitting right at a table (taking a break) and he just ran out right in front of us from the back room areas... blarg. But that doesn’t need to be explained any more.
After prom was Adventure Crossing. After FINALLY finding my stuff, scot and I traversed to Lindsay’s house to change n’ suches. Then we proceeded to Adventure Crossing.
Basically, scot and I killed ourselves on DDR and were pretty winded for the rest of the night XD we’re REALLY out of shape. but we shall hopefully fix that in the future. The rest of the time was spent in the arcade and waiting for our chance to play laser tag... we didn’t get to play until the last round, but it was still TONS of fun.
i LOVE laser tag.

so, I was vury happy at the hugeness of the course and the fact that it had two friggin stories XD yeah.. delicious. Definitely wanna go back.
So, the only major downer to Adventure Crossing was the rain, because we couldn’t do go-karts and putt-putt, etc. so... yup. The rest was super fun, and we were dead afterward.

This morning, stuff just kinda exploded XD We (in a way) ran late getting ready this morning, and so we were rushed out of the house (after getting food) only to have scot’s truck not start. So, Miss Laura took me to my house, I changed into my work clothes, then we went to work. I WAS ACTUALLY ON TIME XD So that was cool. Work was good... just me, Lani, Allen, and Jeremy.. Tim (ha.. derek.. XD) showed up after a lil while, and then a newbie came in while I was leaving (his name is Jesse). But yesh... after that was stuff and picking up clothes/food from lindsay’s house (scot and I forgot our white sauuuce *cries*) aaand then we came home, and scot went on his way back to tech ;_; *cries more*
oh wells.. now I must do my homework/eat dinner XD Left overs from Miyabi’s? yay!! Homework I neglected all weekend? Boo!!

Surprise revealed!

So, for those of you who haven’t seen my facebook status/seen me at school/etc...
I cut my hair!
10" cut off to be donated to Locks of Love ( www.locksoflove.org ; if you’re going to get your hair cut, please do this).
And a lil bit more came off when the lady was evening it out.
Yes, I freaked out before/during/after... almost cried at least half a dozen times.
But! I like it. I don’t love it, but I like it, and it’s pretty much just where I’m waiting for my hair to grow back longer, cause that’s the main reason for me cutting it in the first place.

yeah, so, today wasn't too bad XD sorry i haven't posted in forever... things have been rather... hectic XD
but yesh XD let's see what i can remember XD
when i got up, i wasn't feelin to great; that's how it's been every morning that i get up lately... not only is my bed mostly deflated, but my throat is sore as mess ^^; but oh well. ANYWHO. got to school, had breakfast, meredith and i glared at a stupid guy who cut the line, and... yeah XD
ap bio: well, i loved class today XD it was very awesome... we got completely off track because of glenn and rebecca's presentation, and we ended up talking about birth control and things about the ovum and basically girls'/women's anatomy in that particular area *and also about how if a woman is nursing, and she hears a baby crying, she'll end up... leaking lol XD * and then we talked about crazy kinds of birth control, and how mrs. pousman's sister-in-law has always used it, and how she didn't think that was a good idea, and all this other kind of stuff *i really agreed with a lot that mrs. pousman said XD natural, whoo! XD i need to talk to her more about natural family planning *nod nods* * but yesh... then we talked about those crazy birth control thingers again, like the permanent one that's... copper.. *shudders* and then contraceptive, i think it is, and then just funny images XD *gah, ashley... hilarious XD but we can't use a string, so what to do? XD* but yeah XD overall, really good, interesting, highly-educational talk we had on all that, so wheee XD after this, some bio kid had brought in some termites and some lady bugs, and so we got to do a lil experiment with the termites
XD it was SO AWESOME XD it was hilarious how thoroughly entertained all 16 of us were XD basically, you take a termite and a sheet of paper and a pen; you draw a circle with the pen, on the sheet of paper. you let the termite wander around randomly on the sheet of paper and eventually it finds the circle and just follows it around and around and around... XD and then you can draw other things besides the circle, and you can even get the termite to literally follow the pen while it's slightly above the paper XD this is because certain pen-inks have pheremones *or however you spell it* in them XD it was just SO MUCH FUN XD so.. yeah XD
apush: good stuff, i love my classmates in that class, you guys really make everything fun XD and mr. bower, too, of course XD and i was expecting to be doing essay talk, but we're not doing that til tomorrow now, so that kinda screws things up... i wish i had done my terms early like i had meant to so i could have been more involved in the discussion that we had after we finally got to start XD it just sucks when it's bad timing XD i like participating in discussion, and i don't want us to not have them XD but yeah XD so, good class, as usual, even though i'm afraid of essay stuff tomorrow XD *whimpers*
lit: more presentations after vocab check.. pretty good, i supposed :P i like usa-chan's XD
chorale: just the norm... i'm sure i'm forgetting something, but yeah XD ms. addison came in, and we just kept going, of course XD barber's starting to get better again... kinda XD and so are the other songs.. things are slowly coming together, but it needs to happen faster... we have a performance a week from now... XD *dies*
p.e.: oh, it was great XD hilarious, and fun XD we played blind volleyball.... coach had bed sheets all over the nets so we couldn't see to the other side... until i messed up two serves in a row *i'm good like that... XD* i enabled us to gain over 10 points, cause... well, the other team kinda sucked/was being stupid/SOMETHING XD it was SO hilarious to listen to them, though, cause i mean, they're like "oh crap" n' stuff when the ball comes over, cause you can't see it, and yeah XD it was just hilarious XD i was doubling over XD good stuff though, i like my team and my lil ones XD *our team is me, andrew (12th), cici, kim *6th*, jasmine *6th*, ian *6th*, and david *8th?* XD*but yeah XD good/fun stuff XD
piano: ugh XD i kinda wished mr. hennessy had tested me today, cause i don't think i'll be any better tomorrow, and i have a feeling he'll try to get me first... that's going to SUCK cause i haven't gotten to practice either of those songs on the actual piano yet, so expression will be difficult to get right, and that's what he's really looking for... not to mention, it was just today that i was finally really getting things at least slightly right on those two pages... XD *sighs* but oh well XD i'll just do my best XD
trig: yup... trig was just good ol' trig as usual XD cici and i looked up... words XD in the french dictionary XD hilarious stuff, me thinks XD oops.. i have trig homework. freak. XD *forgot about it* oh wells, looks like i don't get to go to sleep early... ANYWHO yeah XD
french: french was fun today, as it has been lately... things are just coming together how they should, and freaking mess, i forgot i have homework in that class, too XD crap XD *dies* oh well... looks like i'll be up REALLY late tonight XD
after school: went to the soprano sectional, that went well... altos ended up being helped a lot *there were only alto 1's there after ashley left XD oi vey..* but yeah, twas good, i suppose XD after that, rebecca, katie, and myself talked some, then we practiced for our trio literary thing XD we need lots of practice, but we'll get it soon, i'm sure XD we're dedicated like that XD and we're ready to really try XD whoooo! go us! XD
so, after that, we went and fed the pets, talked with dad some, and then went to wal-mart XD i got a new toothbrush *YAY!*, new deoderant *it took us FOREVER to pick out a new one.. XD*, tooth paste, and bread *i still need to make my lunch XD*sighs* * so yesh, took way too long, and i didn't get home til 6. again. oh well XD so yeah... i had my dinner/made this post, and now i need to get started on this homework so i can watch Ugly Betty/Grey's Anatomy! so, talk to ya'll later XD byers! |

and... no, maybe i won't ever get around to finishing it XD i want to, though, because it really was a great day XD *saturday, that is :P XD*

yeah... i REALLY haven't made any entries in awhile, i know, i
know.... *sighs* XD everything's just been INSANELY busy, and aki has
made it nearly impossible to get on the computer -_-; and then
whenever i go to grandma's, it basically just always has to be school
work... *sigh again* oh well ^^; i just can't wait til thanksgiving
break, cause hopefully that'll be when we can get my compy working
again... XD
anywho, so... i'll start with today and then go backwards to the
weekend, i suppose.
today, overall... was pretty good. I just don't feel like going
through the whole thing, mainly because i have other things i need to
be doing right now XD but! i did make a 100 *and i was like, one of
the FEW ((i frankly don't know if anyone else even passed...)) who
actually made an A* on my french vocab X3 twas great ^^ and then
madame said *after class, just to me* that i still definitely had the
best sentence structure in our class *we wrote compositions and got
them back today* but still... i understand why she's so distressed
because like... all of the compositions... just the grammar and
everything... basically sucks ^^; but... oh well, i suppose.
in any case... we got report cards today!!! ^^ *just a few minutes
ago, in fact, because i'm still at school, just in the art building
with ty*
i'm kinda sad, though, because my lowest grade was in french ;_; BUT...
it was a 94 :3 so, one point better than last six-weeks! *as in, my
lowest grade this time was a 94, not a 93* XD
A.P. Bio: 98 *up 5*
A.P.U.S.H.: 95 *up 1*
Lit: 97 *down 1*
Chorale: 100 *same*
P.E.: 97 *down 3*

meh... not too bad, if i do say so myself X3 ^-^
anywho.... so, to the weekend!
Frithur: it is a thursday that might as well be a friday, because it's
the last day of the school week *due to Veteran's day this time* XD
but yesh... it was a pretty good day... can't remember exactly why,
but... i did get to go see the performance *an Evening of Dance, Jazz,
and Song* at 3:45 with aki n' ty :P i ended up sitting with Brooke,
though... that was interesting enough :P XD ^^ but yes... the
performance was great, and made me very happy XD afterwards, i got
home... and i don't really remember what i did, but i know i was
asleep around 12:30, finally getting some well-needed rest XD
Friday: so, woke up at 11:30... it was wonderful XD i finally got
enough sleep... in fact, i had to make myself go back to sleep a
couple of times, but i did it XD once i finally got myself out of bed,
i went and had breakfast/lunch with aki while mum n' ty were
around..somewhere... eventually, i don't know XD but yeah, i felt very
productive on friday, because i did the dishes, i did laundry, i
cleaned up my room, and did other stuff i can't remember at the moment
XD n' yeah... that night, i went to pick up the echo from dad's house
*so we could use it to drive up to atlanta, because grandma didn't
want us to use the minivan because it had just messed up again
recently* and then dad brought me out to eat at veracruz... i had a
shrimp quesadilla X3 nummy stuff... but yesh, overall, it was pretty
good, and rush was cool, too :P *one of my dad's friends... he joined
us, but didn't really eat, cause he said he had had a very large meal
earlier on in the day XD eventually, we went back home, and i got all
my stuffs ready for the trip, took my shower, talked to scot for
awhile, then eventually went to sleep XD
Saturday: so... i wake up at 5:20, which gives myself PLENTY of time
to get ready *and be leaving at 5:45*... however, when i got out of
the bathroom *after brushing my teeth as well* i didn't hear any
movement from downstairs... which led me to correctly assume that my
mom was not up yet; apparently she had set her alarm for P.M. instead
of A.M. o.< ^^;;; so, i woke her up and she was moving by 5:30...
therefore, i was ready to leave *before* 5:45, but we didn't actually
get to leave until 6:05 -_-;
so... we were on our way, and then she's like, oh yeah, i always stop
in Thomson, so we'll stop there... i would have been more pissed off
about that, but i got breakfast out of it, so yeah.. ^^;
but THEN we also stopped at a rest stop *sighs* and thus we were put
behind even more and didn't get to GA Tech campus to pick up scot
until 8:36
so, seeing how we need to be at the Agnes Scott campus for the event
that was going on that day at 9 o'clock, it seemed as if we were going
to be running late.
thus, to make things even worse, we discovered that our trac phone
doesn't work in atlanta -_- *which makes sense when you think about
it, but yeah, we were NOT expecting it* so... i had to run around
trying to find someone to let me borrow their phone and call scot to
let me into the dorm so we could get directions to the college *and to
get him, of course* well, the first guy i found, his phone was dead
*"nooooo!" i cried... XD* and so i had to keep on looking. THEN this
lady ((in a car with two young children)) called me over to ask for
directions, but of course, i didn't know where to direct her, so i
felt bad, and she didn't quite get it when i asked to use her phone
((essentially.. i didn't quite ask though, so... yeah, that's okay))
so i just basically stayed around the corner, hoping SOME college
student would actually be up at 8:45 on a saturday morning XD well,
eventually... there was someone... an asian :P XD XD lol, i say that
to be funny. but yes, it was, and he was nice and let me hold his
phone *his super AWESOME phone, btw... it was this rectangular keypad
and screen, and then it had a completely separate ear piece to use to
talk/listen... it was so cool XD* but yeah.. so, then i got scot
*after getting directions as well* and we went on our way to...
were you expecting "to Agnes Scott?" i'm sorry.
"to... GET LOST" is what actually happened -_-;
so, yeah, we managed to screw up the directions cause we're all
special like that, and long story short *after playing "red light,
green light" with a freaking stop light... XD and then trying to find
a road name that was actually on a building...* we made it to Agnes
Scott by 9:41 XD *sighs*
so, we signed in and all that stuff, and walked into the lil opening
ceremony part. after that, we went on the campus tour... twas pretty
fun, and the campus was really pretty... and i also love the fact that
it's smalllll XD it makes me happy... but yesh. once noon time rolled
around, apparently we were supposed to be going to these places to
check out majors... i found the list *from lindsay, who was with me in
my tour group* and basically, there were none that were listed that i
was interested in, so i just went to the "undecided" one XD it was
still a very interesting talk, and i feel like i learned a lot about
some things... so... yeah ^^ twas very informative.
what was even better though, is that we got to have a FREE LUNCH in
the dining hall. and i mean, not only is their dining hall BEAUTIFUL
but it's just... the food is just... it made me happy XD i mean, the
presentation, if nothing else, of all the stations n' such made me
very happy XD it was super cool... but yesh XD they made us sit with
actual agnes scott students so we could talk with them some, and yeah
XD it was pretty fun... on top of that, it was interesting to hear
about all the different DFA alumnae that go to Agnes Scott... Havelyn
R., Adrienne G., Rachel L'H :P XD etc... so yeah, pretty schnazzy.
aftewards were the closing ceremonies, which took quite some time,
but... yeah XD overall, it was pretty awesome XD

yes... the overall is for a reason, cause for a good couple of hours, i felt majorly like crap.
but i shall get to that later XD
anywho, i'll start with yesterday afternoon, i suppose :P
so, after school, i get picked up and dad calls and asks if i want to go out to eat with him.
long story short, ty and i went *aki was elsewhere* and it was good... twas veracruz, and i had a shrimp quesadilla, sweet tea, and a sopapilla :P XD
after this, we were on our way home (prolly around 7) and dad asks us if we need anything before we go back. WELL. i was like, i need a jacket, but... and he was all like, well, let's see what we can do about that. so, we make a u-turn... then he changes his mind and makes another u-turn because he suddenly has an epiphany about the perfect place to go (which he won't tell us where that is)
and so we end up in north augusta (S.C., of course) XD which, i kinda saw coming after awhile. but what i didn't think would happen is that dad would actually pick a good place to go.
however, he made a GREAT call. He had seen an ad for this place's grand-opening, and so we went all the way out there, and it was GREAT. the place was called Steve & Barry's university sportswear, so i kinda didn't really think it was going to be any good. but as it turns out, not only did it have what it said it did *a large selection of good-quality college/university shirts/sweatshirts/hoodies/etc...*, but it was SO MUCH MORE. there were sweat pants/sweat shirts, hoodies, regular shirts, tees, shoes, jackets, i mean... just of all different kinds and EVERYTHING. the store was huge, and the selection was pretty awesome. if i had had $100 with me, that woulda been awesome, cause ya know what?
because it was the grand opening, everything was $7.98!!!!!!
THAT IS SO AWESOME.
so yeah, i ended up trying on a TON of things... in the end, i came out with a new jacket for winter *which i really needed..* and a pair of jeans *whoo, 3 pairs now! ^-^* and a GA Tech hoodie!!! teehee! XD *hops around happily* so, that was pretty schnazzy. ty got some stuff too, but whatever :P
only bad thing is, i hadn't gotten to do any of my homework yet, and by the time i got home, it was already 8:45 XD
so... i ended up staying up til 2:45 to do all of my homework *sigh* XD hopefully tonight won't be like that... i DO need to study though. but in any case.

apush: yeah, so... we get in there (after GHP fine arts nominees are called to the office and get their info on when their audition is gonna be...) and mr. bower goes ahead and gives us the answers for the study guide type thingers at the back of the chapters in amsco, and then "pairs down" the terms... yeah... now that i think about it, i REALLY need to look at that stuff XD so, i suppose i need to hurry up. anywho. so... we ended up playing a quiz game that he decided on doing like out of NOWHERE. but... it was so much fun... and my team WON BWAHAHAHAHAHA XD so... that made for the awesome start of the day... *random convo occured and i had told mr. bower about how i liked his teaching and how i'm really enjoying apush a lot more than i thought i would... and this was BEFORE i knew we were playing a game! so yeah... made him happy, and that was cool XD* also during this period, i found out that the gate was locked from the music wing to the amphitheater. this pisses me off. we now have a security guard/r.c.b.e. police guy or whatever, and now they're locking that gate. i don't mind the guy. i DO mind the gate-locking. because they have that closed off, i have to walk from piano ALL the way in the other direction and around the courtyard in order to get to trig. before this, even if i did leave right away, i had to just walk really fast in order to get to class on time and still make it to my locker. but yeah... so, i told mr. bower about this, and he said he'd do something about it. i hope he remembers/it works out XD
lit: uhh... yeah XD we were reading vocab answers, and people were being stupid and answering in weird "accents" and then mrs. nimmons joined in and started being weird with us XD it was great. what was annoying, was sydney playing with balloons all period... usa-chan had gotten some for chase for his b-day, and yeah... XD *sighs and shakes head* that was annoying XD
chorale: so... i felt like i had to go pee really badly, and i was like, great... i bet this means my period has started. so, i had to ask dr. d *right when the bell rang* to go to the bathroom... he gave me a look, but let me go, cause that is literally (i think) the first time i have EVER left during that class XD certainly this year, at least. but yeah, so it had started, but i caught it before it messed up my underwear. whoo! XD yeah, i know you guys really wanna hear that. ANYwho... XD so, we're in class, rehearsal is going fairly well, and we finally start doing Regina coelli again, which has the alto solo part i have been preparing for for a long time. well, we don't even really go through it, when dr. d stops us and announces he has the solo parts picked out. thankfully this was toward the end of the period, otherwise i wouldn't have been able to hold back crying for that long. i just barely made it out of the classroom. this is the SECOND TIME it has happened where i have prepared and been ready for a solo, and i have not gotten the opportunity to perform it. i was really frustrated, because i had been put off since friday, basically, and i knew i was running out of time... and yeah. i never got the chance. even though i was ready. so... i was highly frustrated and depressed, and thankfully i didn't have to do anything in p.e., cause i sure as heck didn't feel like it.
p.e.: yeah... just sat around and just thought about stuff for awhile, trying to calm down after chorale.
piano: so... i get in there, and just start practicing, feeling a bit better, but apparently still looking pissed off/upset, cause mr. hennessy noticed, and him noticing caused me to start crying again so i went to his office (he told me to) after i explained to him what had happened. so, i stay in there for the majority of the period... for a little bit of time, he came in and talked to me, and told me what i should do/that i should say something to dr. d, which i had already been planning on doing. but still, i was just very distraught, and thankfully he gave me a basic break for the day, til the last 7 minutes of class. after this, i just went and practiced some more, and i turned out okay. *he talked to me again at the end of class, talking about how high school really wasn't all that important, even though he's not supposed to say that, etc., etc., and it was pretty funny, yet i already knew it was true, n' yeah. anyway*
trig: mr. galvin wasn't here today... kinda wonder if it had anything to do with yesterday's incident (he blew up at glen, which i think glen fully deserved... maybe not at that exact moment, but because of all the crap he's given teachers n' stuff, it just frustrates me, and goodness knows it made mr. galvin snap, so.. yeah) but.. yeah, we just took our quiz today.. pretty sure i did fine on it unless i just made some stupid mistakes. after this, i went and got my stuff from my locker (i had 15 minutes left over) and then i read the requirement thingers for all state... apparently for the first time ever, all state is switching to the 100 scale rather than the 10 scale thingie... so.. that's rather mind-blowing, and i don't think i'm going to do too well in all state this year, but whatever XD
french: yeah... glen was starting to frustrate madame, i could tell, but yeah XD nothing happened, thankfully. we just continued going over l'histoire questions for tomorrow, and then after that, we played taureau!!! it was so awesome, cause i had noticed (after i FINALLY got some chips on the board after over half the game...) that liza and i both needed one more, and it was the same thing *allemande* and we ended up getting it!!! so, we both won, and got these stamps on post-it notes that would be worth extra credit on a test!!!! so... yeah, that was freaking awesome XD not only did i get to play two games today, but i won both of them. so... yeah.
all state help session: so... did this after school *after finding out from alice that our audition is supposed to be monday... WTF... but yeah, we REALLY need to change that.. anywho...* and afterwards, i talked to dr. d. and... a lot of good came out of it. seriously. i got my point across, and not only that, but he said the exact words "you are not an alto"

but yeah. so... that made me ever so happy, and he said he'd fix the situation as best he could, but that he needed my tone/sound quality in the alto section, which is how i ended up in that section to begin with in middle school. but yeah. so, when he said that, i also told him of my intention of becoming an officer next year. and he said thank you for telling him that... which is a good thing.. this could go well for me..
but yeah, so while lookin for akums n' ty after school, i saw katrina, and i told her bout everything, and apparently she really agrees with all of my comments in chorale, and thinks they're really good, and thinks that i'm a hard worker, and that i would be a good officer... n' yeah. that made me really happy to hear from her :P

omg today just ended on a COMPLETELY awesome note!!!
i feel so stupid for not checking my e-mail sooner, but yeah... so bunny e-mailed me *as we've been doing back and forth for awhile now* and told me she's coming down for the weekend, and to call her when i got the message...
so, i didn't get it til 7:30, but i called, and then they *her and her mum* ended up coming over right then XD i was like... ACK XD
but yeah, so... she came over and just stayed here for awhile *she just left about a few minutes ago, around 9:50 i suppose* and... yeah XD we just had so much fun XD it was great. talked the whole time, then i let her realize the greatness that is youtube. so... we watched some sailormoon before she had to go ;.; but... yeah XD it was so much fun, we were laughing the whole time, and it was good ^^
hrm... but now i need food *cries* hrm... i'll figure out something to do about that soon enough.
but yesh, so tomorrow is day with usa-chan and then packing for the ap bio trip. gotta go to mass tomorrow, too. oh wells XD still should be a good day. gonna try to go to sleep early. who knows XD

today was actually a pretty schnazzy day ^^ and i can only say that I think it'll continue to get better X3 for e-jr and scot just left for e-jr's sis's house, so... hopefully they'll be on their way soon ^^ *hops around happily* but yesh, let's see just how much i can remember from today...
ap bio: so, mrs. pousman wasn't here today, apparently for a surgery her husband's getting or something, so... yesh. Mrs. Harrison subbed! *hops around happily* made me super happy X3 on top of that, we made thank you cards for chaperones and the teachers on the phinizy swamp trip... more like paige/lindsay/brittany/diana made them, but okie XD we all signed them. hopefully. but yesh, for the rest of the period we talked, and we *some of us, anyway..* started working on the nice, huge interactive packet we got for chapters 53/54... have to have most of it done by wednesday. we also have to look up stuff for our 6 organisms... gotta make sure not to forget that... who knows, i may end up lookin up stuff in an hour or two... anywho! so, i didn't get to see my grade for this test. that's ooookay with me XD
apush: so, today was our off day, and we got to watch school house rock, i think it was? yeah. and then we had either coffee, hot chocolate, or tea *i had hot chocolate.. soooo nummy* and then we all went into sugar comas by eating *well, i ate all this stuff, anyway... there were bananas, too, but i don't like them, so.. yeah* doughnuts, honey buns, grapes, and rice krispy treats *mikey brought grapes, kenia brought rice krispy treats.. i think bethy's mum brought the doughnuts XD she didn't even know her mum was gonna do that XD but yeah..* it was good. AND GUESS WHAT
I GOT A 94 ON MY APUSH UNIT TEST!!!!
it's a good thing i made a good grade on this test, cause it would have sucked had i failed both ap bio AND apush... but yeah. so, i only missed 10 out of 50! the least missed *aka, the highest score overall* was 7 out of 50, so... i'm super proud of myself! ^-^ *hops around happily* and, since i found out mr. bower uses decimals, i think i might end up with a 95 in that class this six weeks X3 which is awesome, so yeah ^^ goooo me ^^
lit: we had mr. wes as a sub today... everyone was being stupid and took WAY too long to study n' crap for the vocab... i missed one on the vocab quiz, but i have my flash cards for the extra five points anyway, so... yeah XD should be fine. after this, i just read for a lil bit, but ended up just takin my lit book with me home.
chorale: so, it was a good day in chorale, too. we did some practicing, but in the end, mrs. micklosovic came by with her 7-8 latin class, as well as mrs. levin(e?), alex's mom. that was our audience for our "performance" today *we just about always have "performances" on fridays* and so we sang Unsere Vater, Song for Athene, Diffusa est Gratia, and Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine. we sang like, waaay past the bell *by about 3 minutes* but it seemed like everyone really enjoyed it anyway *despite our horrible rushing.. but, dr. d was rushing too, due to the bell, so yeah XD* so, i got a pass, and went on to P.E.
p.e.: normally we don't have to dress out on assembly-schedule days, but for whatever reason, we had to today. so, i got in there, and took my sweet time getting dressed, and then used the bathroom, and THEN went out *after everyone had finished their laps... teehee XD* and we started playing "King of the Hill" with badmitton. twas fun! i was "king/queen" for a lil while, but... really, i need to work on it XD i was able to help out the lil kids, though, and we all had fun i think, so yeah ^^ twas a good class ^^
piano: so.. went in, and passed Mr. Hennessy my pass to go to guidance *forgetting that we were on assembly schedule, it wasn't my actual appointment time, but ms. gloster was able to have me anyway XD* and he told me my test grade: 100!! i mean, wtf??? XD i'm insanely happy about it, but.. yeah XD Mr. Hennessy is a VERY nice grader XD goodness XD so, i think i have a 100 average in that class this six weeks... whoo! anywho, so i went on to guidance at this point, and, we started talking about stuff, when her boss came in with a package for her... that took away about 5 minutes, cause they were trying to get her a bottle of water to take with her... XD but, yeah, it's all good. we ended up talking the whole period, about SAT stuff and my rank *HOT DAMN, I'M STILL RANKED 11TH IN MY CLASS!! I CAN STILL SALVAGE MY BEING IN THE TOP TEN!!! **DANCES** 95.785* but yeah.. so, just as long as i don't mess up in any of my classes too badly, i should at least be able to stay where i am... someone made the good point that a lot of people who are higher in rank haven't taken chem yet, so... yeah XD not to be mean or anything, but i'm kinda hoping someone messes up in chem so i can get back up there XD XD gosh i'm a horrible person XD but... yeah XD then we talked about the divorce stuff, and then some bout scot, and all that good stuff ^^ n' yeah XD so, because of the fact that i'm applicable for free/reduced lunch *free this year* i can get a waiver to take the SAT for free... alas, she doesn't have any more at the moment, so i'm prolly gonna end up taking the December SAT, or spring, but... yeah XD either way, that whole meeting just made me really happy ^^
trig: so, get in there late, but get my test back... i made a 94! it just kinda made me angry at myself, though, because the 6 points i lost were due to stupid things XD but.. oh wells XD i'm still really happy about it... and so we went over homework... i think i've realized all the stupid things i've done in what we're doing now, so... yeah XD he gave us a graded worksheet, and i may decide to get that done soon, too XD who knows.
french: so.. we had to recite the poem today XD uhm... well, i had it down, but then she tells us one of the words *someone* that is used in EVERY LINE OF THE POEM is pronounced "kell-can" not "kell-kun" *close to that, anyway* and so i'm like.. BUH XD but, when i did it, i did okay... i just coulda done better XD nervousness KILLED me XD so, i hope she decided to grade that nicely *sighs* kyle's poem was hilarious, as well as lindsay's, not because of what she was doing, but because of paige's interpretation of the... scenery.... *yes, the scenery, basically... **sighs and shakes head** XD* but yeah XD so, after that, we just stuck around in there until we got up to the assembly time.
assembly: it was for the Zelda Fitzgerald performance. it's tonight at 7, and only $1... i would go, but.. yeah XD scot's coming! either way, we got to see the whole performance, and it was AWESOME. brittany/brittney both did poem's n' such, and then the lady, mrs. miller or something like that, did an awesomely entertaining job of what she was doing, and i feel like i was very well informed by the performance. the new set of jazz band peoples performed for the first time today... they're actually still pretty good! only thing is, it's a very small group, and mr. canady had to play, too XD but, it was still really good, and it made me happy ^^ *not as good as last year, of course, but yeah... :P they could hold their own **nods** * the modern 4 performance at the end was VERY awesome, too... so yeah XD imma try to get some people to go to that tonight, even though i can't. in any case, after that, just went out to the bus, and got in my seat... i think the kid's name is ryan *it may be chris... not sure XD* but he's the new sax player for jazz band, and i told him he did a great job n' everything, and so i felt happy, he was happy, and then i talked some with rei-chan, and it was a good bus ride home. got my lit reading/responses done, as well, so i was slightly productive.
anywho, so i got home, and no one's here! and the lappy got left!!! so... yesh. very happy bri. now, i shall get to work, eat, watch tv, or take a nap or something XD we shall see. here's to a good weekend! ^^ byers ^^ |

yeah, so we finally got DSL yesterday! 100 Mbps! it makes me happy ^^ for it is faster than dial-up. so whee! XD
but yesh, so now i have internet, but still no compy... the only reason i'm on right now is cause akums is at her church thinger, and i need to do an essay, so yeah XD but yesh. i felt like doing an lj entry while i was on, so here I am XD
this morning: waited for laura to get out of her car, and then walked in with her and talked with her about random stuff til paige came in and kinda interrupted, but oh well XD it was all cool. after this, we went and had chicken breakfast, whee! nummy stuff.
a.p. bio: we basically just went over the stuff that was supposed to be on the test tomorrow.... i feel like i already know everything that's going to be covered, but i'm not sure, so i'm going to look over stuff again just incase... give a nice thorough look through anything that she said we needed to know XD *nod nods* and money was due today for the trip, and like... everyone forgot. it's pretty bad. oh wells.
apush: it was pretty dang awesome today. Mr. Bower let us just study for stuff the whole period *we've been having quite a few study periods lately... not that i mind, but... yeah XD i just have a feeling it'll come get us later, but oh well, it works anyway* and so i just began to read up on the first chapter in the AMSCO again.... i REALLY need to review all that stuff tonight for the unit test. guh. i got another 85 for my test *sigh* multiple choice keeps on getting me! i really am disappointed in myself, but... oh well. that was good considering i didn't really study. but yeah.
lit: spent the period peer editing on the persuassive essays... our final draft is due tomorrow, so i have to finish it tonight *well, fix it from all the editing harriett did* yeah... not everyone was really working, but that seems to be how it always is. Trilogy wrote a really good essay about animal rights. twas neato. but yesh, at the end of the period, mrs. nimmons randomly asked about my ring/scot and how he was doin n' such, so that was nice :P
chorale: started another new song today... daniel something or other... tis a gospel song.. Dr. D doesn't usually do gospel, but... for this composer, he makes an exception. but yeah, seems pretty neato so far. outside of that, we worked on Brahms a bit, and then we worked on Drive My Car. it's coming along, me thinks XD but yesh.... on a side note, i'm getting slightly irritated at a certain someone who continues to come in late, and today she was wondering what the heck was going on... I WONDER WHY. we were talking about something that we had done when she had come in late. and on top of that, she has a tendency for leaving the class EARLY, too! i mean, goodNESS. but whatever.
p.e.: more badmitton-y goodness. we have an odd number of people in my class, thus i have diana and stephen as my partners XD it's the best of both worlds! it's just gonna get really screwy by the time we do doubles tournament, though ^^; oh wells. it was fun.
piano: mr. hennessy started testing again today... of course he started with me for level 5, and... yeah XD i bombed, but he's doing it early to see if he can get anyone out of the way... if he can't, then that's fine with him XD but yeah, then desiree made the best noises while messing up and playing... twas super hilarious, and made everyone feel good, me thinks XD except for her, but i think she was okay, so yeah XD
trig: oh goodness. i felt so stupid with this test. thankfully, mr. galvin is super nice and is giving us five more minutes at the beginning of class to tie up some loose ends... i told him i wasn't finished with #3... so... hopefully he doesn't try to grade any of it, cause i'm pretty sure it was pretty dang wrong *sighs* i REALLY need to fix it. but yeah. i think everything else should have been good. *nods*
french: guh. SO many people didn't do their work, and it was really frustrating because it was frustrating madame chaney, and it was just... ARG. but... yeah. so, after class, angela marshall came in to see her grade, and it made me want to see my grade *at this point, it was just me and madame chaney* and she didn't really have anything to show me, but just the grades and all the participation things, cause she doesn't want people to get grades, but they're just being so STUPID. it's really annoying, and so she and i had a VERY long conversation *from the 3:10 bell til approximately 3:56* about just... everything. in relation to the french class, anyway. and how people were bad mouthing her to mrs. juras *the sub we had yesterday* and all this other stuff... it just sucks that we didn't meet her expectations. she had high ones, too, because of all the stuff she had heard. but... yeah. just... a lot of people killed that and it makes me sad. but i think she has an okay impression of me, at the very least, so.. that's cool. and i really like her, and i finally got to tell her that i won't be taking her class next year... so, i don't feel so bad for that, at least. i'm glad that she knows. but yeah... we talked about how my mum was *with the divorce n' all* and she told me a lil bout her life in the process... twas all very interesting *apparently she was divorced and had kids n' such too, so she knew what my mum was going through* all in all, it was a really awesome conversation, and i'm glad i had it with her. I hope we're able to stay on good terms.
after school: so, after this, i just went on to the front, and dixie was already being picked up by her mum ^^; oops. but yeah, so i got to stick around and talk with tiki while waitin on aki *cause mum was already there* and she and i had quite an interesting convesation *on both sides* n' yeah... we can't tell anyone :3 about what either said. teehee. it's a twin thing, ya know? :P but yeah. i was glad to have that conversation, too... also got to talk to mr. adams some at the same time... and then apparently there was a sub today for mrs. harper... his first time subbing EVER, and he was mr. manly's NEPHEW!! i wanna see! i mean, seriously.
but... yeah. XD eventually dropped off akums/nicoli-oli/yi-yi and then went home... i made my sandwich, then got on the computer, and here i am. i've eaten dinner and now i wanna finish my root beer float and talk to scot, so i'll talk to youse guys laters :P byers!
P.S. and mr. bower informed us today that the rumors are true! we are on a year schedule now! no more semester exams!!! whoooo! this could turn out to be quite useful to me :3 but... we shall see. ^^ |

guh XD i mean, it's not like i'm addicted to the internet or livejournal or anything, but i just really like having the ability to update this thing more often... which is something i don't have at the moment. BUT hopefully by next weekend, that will change.

but yeah. so... i'm at my dad's house again quite randomly today, and imma try to at least get a small insert *or more..* about friday into this long summary of today XD yeah. XD

Friday: so... i can't remember much about the actually day during friday, but... right after school, dad picked me up so we could go up to atlanta for GA Tech night at Six Flags *GA Tech students: $17 ticket, guests: $25 ticket... awesome stuff, though :P* and... he realized he forgot his pouch at the house, so we had to go all the way back to his house to get it, and THEN we got on the road.
well, by going 85 mph for the majority of the time, we were able to get dinner at Burger King real quick before getting to GA Tech and picking up scot right around 6. and i got out of school at 3:15. yes. we made awesome time XD anywho!
so, dad brought us in and dropped us off in the parking lot, and then we were free to ourselves from 6-midnight. 6 hours of goodness ^^
and thus, the night started off in the best way: free stuff! we got free return passes, even though we weren't wearing GA Tech stuff *speaking of which, i want to get some GA Tech stuff... gotta work on that XD* yesh, so after that, we got our picture taken, for whatever reason, and then we just went on our merry way, trying to figure out wtf we were going to do XD
so, we ended up in gotham city *part... i <3 that part, due to the awesome music.. from batman, of course :P* and the first thing we did was go on that ride that has a whole bunch of swings, and it spins you around so you're in up in the air n' such ^^ well, just from that, my legs were feeling kinda funny, and i was dizzy afterward XD so... incase you didn't already know, i'm not really used to these kind of things, namely, rollercoasters. XD but i decided i was going to try some with scot, so... i did XD but, coming to that next :P
after this, i walked scot up to the line for the Batman rollercoaster *twas his first rollercoaster* and then walked back and waited for him to get out, cause i decided i wasn't really ready for that kind of rollercoaster XD so... after he got out *and after i had talked to a worker guy and asked him bout the rollercoasters* i decided to try the mind bender as my first rollercoaster. it had loops. oh goodness XD it was okay, i screamed, and i had to have my eyes closed the whole time, otherwise... i don't know what would have happened. but yesh, i also got a nice, big bruise from it on my left leg. or at least we think it was from that roller coaster. but anyway.
uhm... i'm sure if i thought harder, i could remember better the order we did things next, but... yeah XD here goes.
i think we went to ThunderRiver sometime after this... it was us, and two other couples, and then this one guy by himself XD twas rather funny... but yesh, in the end, no one got stuck under the waterfall! yay!!
yet i still got soaked the most -_-;
but whatever...
so, after this, we went on down to the déjàvu, thinking the line looked okay, but.. it actually wasn't XD oh wells. so, after this, we went on over to the American Scream Machine, and waited forever in line for it *they were getting out a second set of cars, so it was all good, i suppose* XD while in line, we messed around some and had fun XD for example, one of the random things during that long period of time, was that the GA Tech marching band came by, and that was super fun XD but yesh, eventually we got to go on it, and i actually opened my eyes some, so.. yay! XD
after this, we went and got a large order of dippin' dots *cookies n' cream with oreo* and we sat on a bench and ate them ^-^ that was fun... and then after that, we went and got on the bumper cars *which were right there* yeah... i let him drive :P XD it was quite hilarious though, cause literally only like.. 4 of the cars were not in this HUGE pile up by the time our group of people was done XD but yesh, so we went on our way, and ended up goin to the carousel! *he let me have the horsey we both wanted.. thaaankieeee ^-^* *i was higher! whooo!* and after this, we went on the Hanson cars that went around the carousel.. that was nice ^^
while we were on our way, wandering around after this point, we looked at scot's phone to see that both of our dads had called XD so, we called my dad back, he was just wandering around in search of a movie theater, and then we called his dad back, and he had seen my family at veracruz *apparently he was there with miss laura and walter, as i found out later XD twas quite amusing* XD this conversation was ended rather shortly, however, and we eventually ended up riding some other things... *still not sure on the order here, though...* XD
i think at this point, we went and rode the sky bucket thingers... that was fun ^-^ a sky bucket all to ourselves... teehee :3 XD after this, we saw another couple, and decided to follow their example, and just took a break for awhile ^^ it was very nice ^^
but yesh, after this, we went on a search for the dahlonaga *i can't spell and don't care to take the effort to see how that is spelled... XD* mine train, and came across a lil kiddie coaster, it was canyon blaster... we ended up seein scot's friend katie there.. that was interesting XD but yesh, we rode that twice *after we finally figured out where it was... took a bit of a detour.. eheh... XD* and eventually we found our way to the mine train, where we saw katie n' them again, and rode that twice... also fun, but just as rough as i remembered it to be XD
hrm, somewhere along the way *i know i have the order messed up now.. XD*, scot rode the Georgia Cyclone and the Georgia Scorcher... n' yeah XD uhm... after this.. er... i think it mighta been before the Georgia Scorcher, but yesh.. we finally saw emanuel *he had neil with him* and that was cool :P after this, we went on to the free fall ride, which scot also rode by himself... hrm, it hink before we saw e-jr, we went on the swing ride again, and it was a lot more fun than the first time XD but yesh.
eventually, it was around 11:30, so we just went and sat on a bench near the rice necklace stand.. *tien was SO running it from inside of it... XD* and we just stayed there for a lil while, before finally heading out toward the parking lot... it had this collaboration of songs while we were leaving.. twas interesting... quite a few i knew and liked XD *"Closing time..."* *also reminds me, i acted crazy occassionally and began dancing with random music as i heard it XD twas funny, i think :P XD* but yeah XD
so, we followed the flashing.. flash light... *shakes head* and eventually found the car. when we got there, dad was on the phone with uncle herkey *he's in iraq!* so, i talked to him some, and that was cool ^^ after this, we finally got in the car, and a lil while later, we brought scot back to his dorm, i used the bathroom, and then dad and i went on our way back to augusta *cause dad got called back to work ((FINALLY)) on our way to Atlanta, so.. yeah XD* i didn't get home til 3:05... i was soaked, tired as mess, and cold, but it was so worth it. one of the best nights ever ^^ so... yesh.
i suppose i do monday now XD *the rest of the weekend was just nothing/homework saturday, and a lil arts in the heart on sunday, basically*

Monday:
a.p. bio: mrs. pousman occassionally cleans out her closet or her house, and when she does, sometimes she finds things she doesn't want any more, so she sees if any of her students want it before she just gives it to goodwill. XD so... i got shampoo today! Herbal Essences, too!!! smells great :3 but yesh... we just went over the interactive packet, and i hope we don't have any homework in this class, cause i don't remember it XD
apush: we talked n' such, had random fun conversation (george spilled milk everywhere...) and then we watched this video thinger about the first 3 presidents *George Washington (VA, Federalist, 2 terms), John Adams (Mass, Federalist, 1 term), Thomas Jefferson (?, Demo-Republican, 2?)* and it was cool ^^ we should be getting back our essays soon.. *cries* and, we have a ch. 6 test tomorrow. yeah XD
lit: so, got called to guidance, and ms. gloster had to reschedule our appointment, which was cool, so i'll be doin that SAT stuff on friday, but on the way back, i almost had a like... happy-cry moment, cause i found myself quite randomly thinkin bout something, but... yesh ^^ twas good, so.. yeah ^^ in lit, we had our essay cancelled, which was freaking awesome, but now we're doing a persuassive essay. yeah XD whatever. lesser of two evils, all that jazz XD
chorale: uhm.. got our all state stuff passed out to us... katie-boo and i decided we were going to be different than usual, and do Soprano 2.. so.. yeah XD let's hope this goes well. after this, we just worke don Leonardo and then Drive My Car *new beatles song we have XD*
p.e.: it's going much better now that coach is back, because now people can't CHEAT! so... yeah XD talked with ben some, and then got our tests back. that's frustrating XD i got a 99 XD stupid chip XD anywho.
piano: finally have one part of this song we're doing fixed... i'm hoping it stays mostly fixed over night XD so yeah XD
trig: we just worked on a worksheet the whole time, and i got to see my extra credit finally, and i made 8 extra points, so.. that's REALLY awesome. anywho, so, that's homework tonight XD *cause we went over the other homework before that*
french: just lots of work to do, and a poem to memorize by monday.. also have to do exercises tonight and translate a poem as well XD guh XD i dunno, just feels like it's going to take awhile.
after school: all state help session, was just me, glen, dixie, eric, and desiree XD so yeah, that was fun. after that, i asked dr. d bout recording in there, and he said yes, but i'll have to miss 14th period to do it XD so.. yeah XD gotta work on that. also, i got to take to katie baker *yes, batie kaker!*'s mum today, quite randomly XD it was interesting enough, so.. that was cool :P ^^
after this, it turns out fight chorus was cancelled, so it took us forever, but we eventually reached mum, and then got to be picked up *after i hung out with paigey-paige in a practice room for about 30 minutes* n' yeah XD went home, ate a nummy frozen dinner, had a root beer float, and right as i finished, dad called to say he was on his way home, and wanted to see if i wanted to come over XD
so, i went, and i helped him feed the dogs/bunnies n' all that jazz, and that was at six, so i dun really know when i got online XD but yesh... i've been working on this for over the allotted time, so... i shall get to my homework now XD

*this is friday:* yeah, so... today has just been an awesome day overall, with the exception of that trig test we had to take today. XD so... i'm going to try to tell some about it.
alright, so... currently i'm over at scot's house for the night again... we didn't get over here til after midnight prolly, i dun really remember, but... yeah XD it's not our fault... he had to wait on slow people to take him from atlanta, so... yeah *sigh* XD
anywhoodly, so imma go backwards a bit. we just had a lil pizza, now scot's taking his shower. well, when we got home *to his house*, we put up our stuff, and then a few minutes later, he tells me my stuff is waiting on the table *as in, my presents*
so... yeah. who's got the best boyfriend ever? yeah, that's right. I do. ^^
so... i'm telling you guys, you can take a MILLION guesses, but you would NEVER guess what he got me *especially if only given the hint that i would want "small metal objects"* *insert: holy shit, the cat just scared the mess outta me XD XD she jumped up on my lap out of NOWHERE XD anywho...* but yeah... so, he got me a lil katamari type ball.. if i had the camera, i'd take a picture of it, but oh well XD and he also got me a lil beta fishy!!! ^^ it's so awesome ^^ it has a plant living with it X3 it's really neato... also, he wanted to get me We <3 Katamari, but.... they're all out of it, like... everywhere ;.; but it's funny, cause akums n' ty got me the first katamari, so that worked out, i suppose? XD *he also wrote me a poem... but, that's for me to see, and you to wonder about :3 it was really sweet though, and i loved it, so.. yeah ^^* anywho.
so yeah, a lot of cool stuff went on friday, but i can't remember, so... i'm just going to continue on with saturday *i'm trying to make this fast, because i have homework to do... i'm at my dad's house right now to do it, so... yeah XD trying to get to it*
Saturday: wow. my b-day party day. it was... well, honestly, it turned out really awesomely XD one might say even better than i thought it would, because it most ways it did. the only reason it kinda didn't was because of the fact that some people didn't get to come, like ira ;.; i missed you, man! but yeah.. solis wasn't able to come for the laser tag part, but she showed up later.
hrm. yes... so, laser tag XD it was funny, cause scot took forever getting up *cough* and then e-jr went to the convenience store while we were going over to his house, and i thought i saw him drive by, but i was like, no, of course not, why would he... and.. he was... XD so, we were like, 20 minutes late, and then i got there, n' jon/jeremy/michelle/adrienne/alice greeted me and apparently jon/jeremy/michelle had been there for a long while, so i felt bad, but yeah XD so uhm... all the people who ended up coming to that part *late or otherwise* jon, jeremy, michelle, adrienne, usa-chan, josan, brittany, brittney, stephen, lee *he brought his lil bro timothy, who kept on killing me in laser tag... XD*paige, emanuel, scot, ty, anna, and... i feel like i'm forgetting some people, so... yeah XD just let me know... i seriously didn't do it on purpose, i've just got a lot of homework on my mind, and i'm being interrupted by my dad a lot, so... yeah XD but yeah.. so, overall, it was really awesome, and, since we had over 10 people in our "party," we each just had to pay $10, and we got 2 15-minute games of laser tag, as well as 20 tokens X3 twas super awesome, cause i thought we'd only get one game XD
hrm... yeah, so we ended up staying til... 2-ish? sometime in there toward the end, scot and i went over to the mall to see if We <3 Katamari was in.. but... it's been taken off the new list, so they're not making them any more ;.; *sniffles* but, he's gonna look for it online, so that's coolies ^^ *dances* n' yeah, after this point, we all migrated over to my house *entertainment to be had by all with jon's truck-honking, etc...* XD
yeah.. so... all in all, people stayed over for a LOOONG time, and just slowly trickled away... solis joined us eventually as well, so that was nice... in the end, there was lots of twister, craziness on my bed, and just good times overall XD i wish i had more time to go into the awesomeness of it all, as well as all the great presents i got, but... i don't want to forget anyone, so i'll just go back and do this when i have my list with me XD *yes, i have a list of who got me what, whee! XD*
so.. yeah XD it ended up being sometime after 11 before the last of us left... by that point, it was just me, aki, ty, scot, emanuel, brittney, and lee XD yeah... a bit before that, we went and got papa john's... lee drove us in his craziness... gah.. he was taking those curves at 60, i swear... XD but yeah... that was good, and i also finally watched FFVII: Advent Children, and that was great, too, so.. yeah XD good stuff. to end the night, we all went outside and played with this giant bouncy ball i have *exercise ball? you guys know the kind :P XD* yeah... it was a lot of fun XD *which reminds me of earlier on in the party.. one of the kittens next door grew attached to emanuel/scot, and was playing with them when they had the ball out in the backyard during the day.. it was ADORABLE XD but... yeah XD kitty coulda gotten smooshed XD thankfully, it didn't*
anywho, so after that, we dropped off e-jr, then brittney, then we went home and just had fun :P silver played Katamari Damacy... twas funny XD she liked it *even though she doesn't really like video games* so... yeah XD that was entertaining.
Sunday: yeah.. so... we were going to go to 11 o'clock mass, but then we ended up actually getting up *we were up for a long time, just not moving.. XD* late, so, we just met up with mum/aki/ty at st. mary's for 12:15 mass... we were still 5 minutes late, but whatever XD it was a good mass anyway? i saw the probus's, desiree, and aki saw lil blaze from vacation bible school XD so, that was neato. after this, we ended up going to grandma's house for a lil while, then we went to chili's while we were still in our nice clothes ^^ *scot took me out for my b-day lunch :P ^^ it was just me n' him... nice stuff... playing with straw-paper and sugar packets... eeeyeah... we're special XD but it works! XD* and we got fajitas *steak and chicken.. we shared so we could have both :P :3 twas super yummy* and then we had that molten fudge thinger again... once again, it was soooo good :3 so, yeah X3
after this, we went back to his house, and then eventually went back to my house and brought my beta fishy over before we went on out to the lake to have dinner. we didn't end up eating much at dinner *i only had 1-2 ribs and a roll, and he had just about the same... we were full still from "lunch" *cause that wasn't til like 2:45, and we got to the lake around 6, so.. yeah XD*
before dinner though, i just hung around with kim n' everyone and i showed kim some of the pictures from the falls... it was fun :P after that, scot and i went on a walk, and ended up walking around the beach shoreline to get back to the campsite.. it was nice, despite the insane mud XD ^^
a lil while later, we eventually left, and got seriously poured on after that. once we got home, it was just us, and it was rather insane XD XD teehee... reminds me of the harry potter puppet pals... XD XD but yeah... it was great, and probably the best birthday ever ^^ seriously ^^
Today (Monday): yeah... so, we got up around 8:30, but just didn't really do anything til around 10 XD at this point, we added more things to our random list of things we did in a random way *don't ask... too hard to explain... XD* like make cinnamon rolls and eat cookie dough... for breakfast XD XD n' yeah XD it was a great morning, and we were supposed to go out together with my dad for lunch, but we found out he had to leave at 1, which i was REALLY not ready for, so i had a bit of a breakdown, but... it turned out okay ^^ e-jr decided to pick him up a lil after 2, so that turned out better and made me feel better as well, even though he didn't get to come with me n' dad to lunch *we were going for my b-day, cause i didn't get to see dad yet this weekend* n' yeah... i was really sad when he left, and.. it sucks cause i don't know when the next time is that he'll be able to come down, but... we'll see ^^; in the very least, i'll be able to see him 6 weeks from now on Oct. 16th/17th.... but... i sure as hell had better see him before then XD i go insane with just 2 weeks.. i don't want it to be more than that, but... i understand it very well may have to be ^^; but... we'll see *nods*
in any case, dad picked me up around 2:50 from scot's... i said bye to the puppies n' everyone, and then dad and i went to have mexican *not at veracruz, though, cause it was closed* we talked about stuff, and he's working on getting a car for me, but it's lookin iffy... in any case, at least he's trying, and that's nice... but yeah, after that, we went by my house to get my stuff for homework, then shopping to get some stuff, and then back to his house.
so, now i'm here, and lesonya *my best friend from 4th grade and before...* called me and wished me a late happy b-day ^^ it was a 45 minute long conversation, and could have been longer XD alas, i had to make this entry, and now i have to do my homework, so i REALLY need to get going XD so, i'll talk to ya'll later! byers XD ^_^; |

guh. i be sad. i have no internet ;.; so... i'm at grandma's house, visiting her for the first time since she got finished with the whole surgery thing... yeah XD
she's doing well enough, i suppose... gets frustrated really easily, though.

so, i, wanting to make sure my boyfriend and my friends got down here for my b-day, decided to take drastic measures to get them here. yuuup, i asked my dad.
my mum says she can't cause she's gotta be around to help keep an eye on grandma as much as possible, which is understandable... soooo... yeah. i went to dad.
long story short, he's trying to take mary with us.
i'm all like... if you plan on this being my b-day present, you sure as hell better not bring her.
i do NOT like being pushed into a corner. it makes me severely pissed off. but... yeah. i don't really know what to do. i was thinkin bout askin alice to take us, because she doesn't have to pay for any of her gas, and she's driven through atlanta a couple of times, but mum says she's too inexperienced *sigh*
so... i thought of jeremy, cause he's been up to atlanta a bajillion times, heck, he even lived there!! alas, mum goes back to "oh, he can't even parallel park correctly, so of COURSE he can't drive well" ... >_> yeah. not to mention, he has to pay for his own gas, so... i dun wanna put him out like that, even though i know he probably would anyway.
oh well.
for now, autumn's starting to whine at me again, so i guess i'd better finish things up. so... on to checking for davidson stuff... first time to look at that site in awhile! so... byers!

... but.. whatever. i'm just going to go back to avoiding... i was trying to see how things were going to go.. but.... no. i don't like this, and... i used to put up with this kind of thing more, but... no. i can't handle things like this any more, and i'm not going to. i'm going to stand up and keep myself from getting hurt like this. i'm going to be selfish, i suppose some would say. but... yeah. i'm just trying so hard not to lash out at grandma, cause even though i know she is saying this, at the same time, i'm trying to understand how she must feel with her injury n' such. so... i'm just going to avoid her until... i don't know. until i feel like things can be civil again, cause i'm tired of hearing her saying things about me where i don't know if she thinks i can hear her or not, but... she's saying them, and i don't like it, and i'm tired of it. so... yeah.

and so much has happened, and i wish i could update on it all... but i just don't feel like trying to remember EVERYTHING that's been going on. there's been so much.
so... i'll just stick with the thoroughly recent stuff... because i typed it all up to cole in a conversation right now, so... that copy/pasteness will have to suffice :P
"so... we start the morning being picked up at 6:40 by our dad cause our current minivan *that is our grandparents'* is broken down. well.... there's this lady that has always been around *her name is mary; she's a friend of my dad's side of the family, and used to go out with dad a long time ago...* and now suddenly she's "visiting" dad, helping him "clean up" the house. *this is what he said when we asked him why she was living there; he said she wasn't, and when we asked if they were going out, or if they were going to, he said they weren't ((yeah, right..)) but were probably going to* so... we told dad that we thought she was creepy *we have ALWAYS thought this, ever since we were little* and that we don't like her, and we do NOT want to be in the car with her or anywhere near her if we can prevent it *cause the time this conversation happened, he wanted to know if she could go out to eat with us, and we said no after a ((literally)) five-minute silence*
but yeah
so.... he shows up with this lady in the front seat of the echo.
and we're all like... wtf.
cause we specifically told him not to do that, as well as mom, but aki had to get to school by 7:15 for a meeting, so we didn't have a choice
so the three of us had to shove into the back of the echo, and shove our stuff in the back, on top of her stuff
and he said it just had to be this way, cause he was going to the hospital on monday to get a procedure done for his heart *again.. atrial fibrulation, which is what was happening the summer before this one* and that she was going to be there.
and we're all like "BS" but, we didn't have a choice
so.. yeah, that's how the day started
and frankly, the school day wasn't even that bad
but then, i get home *aki and ty stayed after school for stuff* and i get off the bus, and i see that our van, that was supposed to be broken down, was down the hill *we live on a slight hill now*, across the street, and in the neighbor's yard, near a tree *i assumed the tree had stopped it, for it appeared to have rolled there*
well... i decide before i go to do a damage check, i should see what mom has to say, since she was standing at the door at that point
she was on the phone, but after she got off, she explained to me what had happened.
so... apparently everyone had wanted to move the minivan that is over this hump thingy that's in the driveway, but grandma wanted to move it, so everyone told her to wait until she could get the guys to help her
well... she decided to be impatient and try to do it herself.
while she was pushing it, it started rolling backwards down the hill, and so she had the door open and was trying to press in the emergency brake when the car door knocked her over, she fell down, and the car rolled over her leg, breaking it in the process.
so... both of those big bones that were in her leg, were broken *fibula and tibula, i think?*
yeah.. so, if i remember correctly, she had surgery on that yesterday, but she's still in the hospital, and yeah, it was just super crazy o.<
it was all like "woah" explosion of stuff. ^^;"
yeah. so.. there's that XD and i'm also trying to plan things... but lack of internet at my new house has been thoroughly annoying. not to mention, the happy compy that scot let me have has become all brokeded so.... tryin to find people to help fix it. e-junior already took a stab at it *after scot and i, of course* so... now i'm just kinda blah. but.... i'm hoping max's dad might be able to help, so that'd be pretty neato. cause apparently he just got out of college for this kinda thing, so yeah XD i told max the problem though, and he told his dad, and his dad said he thinks it's either the actual button itself is messed up *that's what i thought/hoped* or it might be the motherboard... which would suck. but... yeah o.<
so... right now i'm just at my grandma's, hangin around, waitin for 9.... n' yeah XD talkin to cole and then also was talked to by emanuel's friend Justin, or so he says.
hm... also searching for Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine by Eric Whitacre... tis one of the songs we're doing in chorale now, and i'd really like to just be able to listen to it a lot... i want it on a CD ;_; i need to get CDs from people, btw... but yes.
hrm... random note, the new french teacher is interesting enough, but i dun think i'll be taking french 5, cause i really just want easy classes next year... this year is going to be quite a handful ^_^; so... yeah.

I'm just going to make an entry for yesterday right now, cause..... I'm supposed to be working on homework XD so... yeah XD I'm running out of time, but yesterday was cool. so, here goes XD
Got up (at scot's house)around 9, but didn't really start moving til an hour/couple hours of later. after this, we eventually got up and had nachos (smothered in cheese/hamburger meat/sour cream XD) and a piece of pie each (strawberry pie.. strawberries, white chocolate, yummy crust.... the good stuff scot's mum makes :3 XD)... again. this is what we had for dinner the previous night XD XD so... yeah XD that was kinda funny. eating healthy? butofcourse. XD
anywho, so.... fast forwarding a few hours, i finally took my shower, and then eventually we got e-junior over to scot's house. when he got here, puppies attacked, i was amused, and then he got upstairs and we hung around a lil bit before we decided to go over to his house so we could get his awesome laser pointer (that was his grandfather's).
so, we went over there, i got to see squeaky, and i got to see his house. it was pretty interesting, honestly. his kitchen is bigger than ours. it makes me sad XD XD yeah... scot walks into his room and gets his head hit a couple of times on the ceiling fan before realizing what's going on XD XD twas kinda funny *pets poor scot* but yesh. at this point, we just kinda hung around his room for a lil while.. they looked up a game that's coming out.. uhm... Total War: Eras or something..? yeah. i'm pretty sure that's it. seemed pretty schnazzy, considering :P but... yesh. after this *or maybe before it...?* scot showed e-junior the movie that Robbie (thrasher... yes, finally remembered the last name XD) made for their english class... Video Games and You. tis funny. XD we were amused, and then we finally went outside again.
e-junior and scot messed around with a pvc pipe some, and then we tossed around a baseball a bit as well, before pine cones were starting to be thrown, and we decided to retreat to scot's truck and just move on to my house.
well... we got to my house, and akums n' ty were there, but not mum, as usual ^_^; so... we went and let e-junior look at the computer, and then we decided to go downstairs and try to steal the power supply from matt's old computer. at this point, scot and I jumped on his mattresses (after we found screwdrivers..) while e-junior did his thang. XD yeah... we then tried to hook it up to the compy, but... twas failure *sighs* at this point, e-junior volunteered (we kinda suggested/asked him to...) to go back to his house and grab his good-bit-newer (yet old to him, cause he just replaced it) power supply, and so we played Kirby Air Ride til he got back. once he got back, we tried it, but to no avail. we know the power supply was working, but... for some reason, still couldn't get the computer to work. this worries me and makes me a very sad panda, much like scot was earlier in the day XD but yes.
after this, we ended up just playing Super Smash Bros. Melee until it was time for us to leave for Zack's party. at this point, we left for the party *which was at Zack's house* and i didn't get us lost! whooo!! we just missed the house on the first go around XD but yeah. we got there and... were the first people there XD XD it was still cool, though.
Zack's dad was there along with his mum, and then Mrs. Nyhoff eventually showed up (cause Zack, Nick, and Wright were supposed to be throwing this party as a joint thing) and then they started making the fairly-huge hamburgers XD while they were doing this, we were playing volleyball in the pool with a soccer ball... it started with zack on my team, and scot/emanuel against us. eventually it ended up being me against scot/emanuel for a bit, and then scot against me/emanuel, and then scot/zack against me/emanuel.... yeah XD it was a fun time, though, so it's all good XD *despite getting out of the pool to get the ball every two seconds... i only had to do it twice i think, but... everyone else was getting out a lot. twas funny, though* but yesh. a bit later, shelina showed up, and then after that, other people showed up as well. at this point, we hung around more in the pool, then got out and ate, and then hung around some up on the deck with everyone else *at this point, i'm just going to list all the people that i can remember were at the party overall: me, scot, emanuel, zack, nick, alex, wright, caitlin, lindsay, liza, caroline (and her boyfriend, me thinks), shelina, lee, sammy, thomas (duncan), peony, susan, erin, ethan, joey, and... i feel like i'm forgetting people, but that's all i'm going to try to figure out now XD and of course, the parents, mr./mrs. nyhoff, wright's mum *i think* and mr./mrs. lapaquette*
yeah.. so... food was good, we had hamburgers, brownies, lemon squares, cookies, baked beans, chips, soda, and then there was the vegetable tray.... yay carrots! and... rofl.. crutons. you guys are weird. anywho. also, there were the pineapple stick thingers, which made scot very happy XD but yeah. so... we ate, hung around, went into the pool a couple of times again, and then just eventually got dressed *then i called me mum back, and then we went back outside* and we just hung around with everyone and talked some more. yeah... this is when a couple more people showed up, and so it was cool. it was kinda weird, though, cause i was having certain feelings toward a certain subject that WEREN'T MINE but someone else's. I like the person that i was having these un-happy feelings for, but it was the other person's *who was not there* bad feelings that were rubbing off. which is weird, and really annoying me. but i kinda understand why they happened at the same time. i'm debating whether or not i'm going to talk to the other outside person about this or not. who knows.
in any case, twice we went out in the middle of the road and showed people e-junior's awesome light XD they were impressed!! but the second time was when we were finally kicked out :P we were the first there, and the last to leave XD yup, that's the way to do things! XD but yeah. so, we left, managed not to get lost, and then went back home to scot's house, bringing a bucket-o-goodies with us XD *whooo leftovers!* so yeah. basically at this point, i just got to stay up and work on my terms from 11-1, and then i finally stopped and took over 12 minutes attempting to wake scot up to go sleep downstairs so he wouldn't get in trouble XD but yeah...
so, overall yesterday was pretty cool :P and i'm happy, but now that i've finished my terms for APUSH, i have a TON of reading left to do, as well as that extra part of the bio assignment -_- *grumbles at mrs. pousman for that, cause not only did she give another part at open house, but told us we didn't have to read a chapter that I READ*.... *grumble grumble* but yesh.
maybe someday i'll update for the rest of this uh... past week, i suppose. but i have work to do, so i'll talk to ya'll later XD byers! |
